The ridiculous demands of society do not stop with body-shaming women. It just goes on and on. If you don’t have a baby, you’re an inept lady. If you’ve had a kid but don’t appear like you’ve had one, your spouse will be uninterested in you.

STOP THE ABSURDITY

All of these assumptions stem from internalised sexism. The problem is patriarchal society’s agenda driven by women against women. How can we put a stop to these unreasonable expectations? By fostering a more female-friendly, body-shaming-free atmosphere. Where we celebrate mothers rather than objectifying them.

CELEBRATING A MOTHER’S BODY

We must normalise a mother’s postpartum physique. Weight gain, stretch marks, dark circles, and hair loss must all be accepted as normal.

Allowing moms to be comfy in their bodies rather than forcing them to transform it into a traditional concept of beauty.

CONVENTIONAL IDEA OF BEAUTY

Many of us have had our lives destroyed by unrealistic conventional ideals of beauty. However, you must understand that this is the twenty-first century, and we can no longer expect traditional aesthetic standards to be acceptable.

We shall define beauty collectively, and only you will determine what is beautiful for you.

FEMALE FRIENDLY SOCIETY- HOW?

Women-friendly societies that enable women to express themselves would be peaceful and competent. How can you build a female-friendly environment? By acknowledging their issues, embracing them, and not having such unrealistic expectations. This isn’t rocket science; we’ll construct that society.

Accept who we are, how we appear, how our bodies are, how our skin is, and let us not harm what is beautiful for the sake of misguided stereotypes and ingrained sexism.
